that sounds reasonable.
whether you love or hate him (or really don’t care either way), you should check out this excerpt from al gore’s new book. the discussion focuses on politics, democracy, reason and how the internet could be the perfect tool for resuscitating all that we’ve lost along the way (in our image obsessed society).

I watched him on The Daily Show last night and he made some great points then too. I would definitley vote Gore/Obama in 08.

i find it interesting that there seems to be a big push for gore to run again … has there ever been a case where a one time presidential candidate — who lost — has tried again and then won? it seems to me that it’d be difficult to pull off (since we already think of him as a “loser” of sorts), but i guess he at least knows what to expect! if i recall, however, a big reason he lost last time is that he comes across as dry … has he overcome that?

I guess it’s debatable whether he actually lost because of the whole Florida screwing up the votes debacle. I think he has said some stupid things in the past but I think people are desperate to get someone into the white house who will make some real changes. I also think he has gained a lot of credibility in the past few years, esp. with his movie that could balance out his “dryness”. Who knows though- I’m a total liberal so all I care about is not having another Republican elected.
