on the road…
been on the road lately, and just returned home. many sights and sounds … there was art, and youth … music at metro mont royal … spoken word, troubled neighbourhoods, and culture as a means for breaking free of oppression and unimaginative systems of control.
can’t go into it right now, but i can say that being around others who are uniting to create is an inspiring thing. whether they are uniting to create hip hop, street art or dance … it just doesn’t matter. it makes it so clear that grace & cello is important because we are part of a larger culture, a diverse culture, that is ready for change, and is working its butt off to make this change happen.
